HAMCON & the ARRL Vermont State Convention —Saturday, February 25
HAMCON has a new venue this year: the Holiday Inn. Exit 14E off I-89, in South Burlington. The best little ham-fest in the north! Expect the usual commercial vendors, some great workshops, ARRL events, the RANV Flea-Table for quality used equipment, an afternoon VE Session, and more. Doors open at 0800.

HAM BREAKFAST—Saturday, January 28, 0900 to Noon
Join the Vermont ham community for our annual Ham Breakfast! Good food, plenty of it, and it won't break the bank. JP's Restaurant, 39 River Road, Essex Jct (Google "JP's Restaurant, Essex JCt, VT" for a map).

License Classes—January 2—mid-February, 2012, Rutland area
The Green Mountain Wireless Society is once again scheduling their annual winter license classes. The session usually runs for 6 weeks, on Monday nights, at St Alphonse's in Pittsford, beginning January 2. There is no charge for the class series, possibly a book charge, and the exam fee at the end, in February. The classes are for both Technician and General levels. Contact Frank/W1AD for details.
